This year Gandhi Jayanthi cooking at CCNV shelter (DC Kitchen) will take place on Sunday, October 7.

Volunteers should be over 10 years of age. Children between 10 and 18 should be accompanied by an adult. Adult volunteers are welcome. Present and past Balavikas families and any others interested may volunteer.

Volunteers should arrive at the CCNV shelter/ DC central kitchen in DC by 7:30 am on October 7. Directions to the venue can be found at this website: http://www.dccentralkitchen.org/directions.php .
